This homestead is a clear
example of the unique rural architecture that is so common in
this land.
Over the last few centuries, Marzalossa was chosen by monks
and prelates who spent here long periods of time coupling mediation
and prayer with the care of the countryside and of the majestic
olive trees still yielding produce. Evidence of this passage
is still present here.
Today, the Masseria is directly managed by its owners who personally
supervise the entire stay of their guests.

|
The few rooms available
in the Masseria have been equipped with all comforts, while
their character of rustic refinement, making stay decidedly
pleasant, has been preserved. |
|
Besides the swimming-pool
located in the old lemon-house, guests may use the bicycles
and a boat for excursions on demand.
In addition, on request, a minivan service from and to the airports
of Bari and Brindisi is available.

|
The cuisine is exclusively
reserved to the guests of the Masseria, and features typical
local and regional dishes, finely cooked and mainly made with
organic produce from the same farmstead, a special mention being
deserved by the unique olive oil produced in limited quantities
by resorting to ancient methods, besides vegetables preserved
in oil, fruit preserves, Rosolios, etc. served inside and outside
to provide maximum relax to the guests.
Ms Maria Teresa holds cuisine courses. |
